Elise Altschuler

Director of Preconstruction

Elise Altschuler has over 12 years of experience in the construction industry. She has worked in all aspects of the project life cycle, from design, procurement, execution, and commissioning. Her experience ranges in various aspects of Civil and Commercial Construction, making her a valuable asset to any project. Elise is a Syracuse University alumni, graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Elise began her career in the construction industry with one of the largest steel manufacturers in the country, transitioning to traffic design and engineering efforts and later project engineering for major new construction projects. It was during her time working on a University of Chicago project that she was first introduced to the JWI team. Her skills aided her seamless transition into the aviation division, managing numerous stakeholders in logistically challenging implementations.

The establishment of the JWI construction division occurred shortly after Elise joined JWI, and based on her previous experience, she was a natural fit. Initially, she was the main project manager for work that had been procured. As time progressed, her interest and involvement in the bidding and procurement of new work made her focus turn to preconstruction activities. She currently holds the role of Director of Preconstruction and has been an integral part of the development and growth of the division.
