O'Hare International Airport Fuel System Master Plan

The primary objective of the Fuel System Improvement Program is to administer, design, and construct all project activities for the relocation of transmission fuel piping and related appurtenances that are impacted by the O’Hare Modernization Program’s (OMP) construction of the proposed Runway 9C/27C and associated improvements.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Currently the Fuel System Improvement Program is made up of three main components impacted by the OMP:

  1. Fuel Mains Impacted by Runway 9C/27C
  2. Tank Farm Projects
  3. Super Satellite Projects

JWI serves as the Program Manager for the construction projects identified in the Master Plan including, but not limited to: program-wide planning, scheduling, project packaging, design and construction management consultant selection, design development, bidding, contract and budget management, and oversight during construction and closeout phases. The program commenced in 2016 and is anticipated to continue through 2020.
