O'Hare International Airport Fuel System Master Plan

At the request of the O’Hare Fuel Committee, JWI led a full-scale investigation into the Fueling System at O’Hare International Airport in order to develop and manage a Fuel System Master Plan.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

This fully completed Fuel System Master Plan ensures continued compliance with EPA standards. It includes upgrades to the current Super Satellite Facility, Fuel
Farm Facility, and fuel mains greatly impacted by the large-scale O’Hare Modernization Program and proposed new runway.

The Fuel System Master Plan led to a comprehensive series of projects now called the Fuel System Improvement Program, whose purpose is to administer, design, and construct all project activities for these sites. JWI is also the program manager and owner’s representative for these projects, including:

Terminal Vault Modifications
Truck Rack Facility
South Transmission Mains
North Transmission Mains and Extension
T5 Fuel Extension

Tank Farm Improvements
Reclaim Tank
