The Club at GRR

JWI was awarded the project management role for The Club GRR, a 3,428 SF airport lounge at Gerald R. Ford International Airport—the first and only shared-use lounge at GRR. JWI worked closely with the airport to build a strong and collaborative relationship, ensuring the project aligned with both the client’s vision and the airport’s operational needs.

Throughout the project, JWI coordinated extensively with airport personnel to manage construction logistics and minimize disruptions. This hands-on collaboration was essential to navigating the complexities of working in an active airport environment. JWI’s proactive approach and attention to detail helped streamline communication, resolve issues early, and maintain alignment with the project’s schedule and budget.

JWI worked closely to ensure the design intent was met. We collaborated with design teams to verify equipment specifications and ensure all equipment met the design requirements. Quality assurance processes were implemented to meet the client’s expectations and maintain high standards throughout the project.
