This past month, 45 of JWI’s finest gathered together by the lake for the annual WINGS Retreat to connect, reflect, and celebrate the support of the women in our community.
The ladies spent the day fostering personal growth through a mindfulness workshop and collective growth by discussing the vision for the year ahead before dancing the night away and eating woodfire pizza and s’mores.
The first annual AVP Award, named after the WINGS slogan: Alis Volat Propriis (She Flies With Her Own Wings), was created to honor a JWI woman who confidently embraces each day of her life.
