As airports across the country continue to invest in the infrastructure needed to meet growing passenger demand, effective program delivery has never been more important. JWI is honored to support Denver International Airport (DEN) through its Project Delivery Support Services (PDSS) contract, partnering with the airport to help deliver critical capital improvements that will shape the future of one of the world’s busiest airports. The award of this contract marks the continuation of over 8 years of continuous service from JWI at DEN under prior multi-year programs and the largest contract award win to date for JWI.
The PDSS contract provides flexible, on-demand project delivery support across DEN’s extensive Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Working alongside airport stakeholders, designers, contractors, and project teams, we will provide the expertise and program management as the Prime Consultant to support the efficient movement of projects from planning through closeout. This success would not be possible without our subconsultant partner firms, who bring an array of expertise, knowledge, and passion to serve DEN. Together, we have learned from and supported each other, as well as championed efforts to grow the community of small and historically underutilized businesses in Denver. This execution and collaboration will be essential for the success of PDSS.
Our team will lead a wide range of project delivery functions, including project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, risk management, construction coordination, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and quality oversight. As the lead for two prior multi-year program contracts, JWI has supported over 40 projects and 50+ tasks simultaneously, equipping us with the knowledge and expertise to execute a multitude of projects simultaneously.
By working closely with airport staff and project partners, we will anticipate challenges before they arise, maintain alignment among stakeholders, and provide data-driven insights that keep projects moving forward safely, efficiently, and responsibly. Serving alongside the AIM Development and DEN Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC) team since 2017, we are excited to continue our collaborative working relationship for years to come.
As Denver International Airport is preparing for decades of continued growth, JWI is focused on fostering strong partnerships, helping our clients build necessary infrastructure, and creating lasting value for the communities in which we work.
We look forward to partnering with talented firms on such a transformative program!
