This month’s project spotlight is taking us down to Orlando!
J.A. Watts, LLC (JWI) recently served as Project Manager, completing work on the extension of the jet fuel system at Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C.
This phase of work, titled P1X, involves the extension of the south end of the existing Terminal C gates to provide additional gate capacity. As part of this program, JWI oversaw the extension of the jet fuel system from the existing South Terminal C loop, which JWI also managed under a previous agreement. In addition, this jet fuel system was installed to allow for growth of Terminal C in future phases.

JWI managed this project for Orlando Fuel Facilities, LLC and included pre-construction services/design review through commissioning. JWI’s responsibilities included coordination of fueling work with adjacent projects, oversight of fuel system testing and inspections, and coordination with the fuel end-user/operator, Menzies Aviation.

JWI’s team included Matthew Montgomery, LEED AP, Assoc. DBIA , Douglas Milligan , and Ryan Kwiecinski, who managed this project from preconstruction through closeout.
This contract was completed earlier this month for Orlando Fuel Facilities in coordination with Greater Orlando Aviation Authority: Orlando International (MCO) and Executive (ORL) Airports.
