Our 25th Employee

It’s the 25th of the month, which means it’s time for another look into JWI’s journey over these last 25 years. In the spirit of 25, we are spotlighting the incredible journey of our 25th employee, Angela Dillon! From her beginnings with us in February 2016 as a Project Controls Manager to her current role as Senior Project Controls Manager overseeing our newly established Project Controls Department, Angela’s dedication, expertise, and passion have been instrumental in our success story. Project Controls started over 8 years ago on O’Hare’s Fuel System Improvement Program (FSIP) and has been growing within JWI, systemwide, ever since.

Angela reflects on her journey, “My experience has been full of enrichment, growth, and support. I was given a lot of latitude to take my knowledge and expertise and apply it in a way that was meaningful to me. JWI gave me every resource available to make that happen, and together over the years, we grew Project Controls into something that was a one person, one project need, and turned it into a systemwide service serving a multitude of aviation clients.”

Now, with multiple projects and programs utilizing project controls support, a separate discipline and department have been set up to streamline our utilization, resources, and skill sets across JWI better. By having employees dedicated to each project’s cost control, budgetary, and accounting/invoicing management, we can offer cost savings and discounts to our clients so they can continue to do their best work. Angela’s journey to oversee a new department exemplifies the spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines us at JWI. Here’s to Angela and many more years of success and growth ahead!
