The Club MDW is Now Open!
We are thrilled to announce the official opening of The Club MDW, Midway International Airport’s first-ever airport lounge in its 95-year history! Yesterday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the culmination of months of dedication and teamwork, and we are proud to have served as the Project Manager and Owners Representative for this historic milestone.
From the very start in January 2024, JWI worked closely with the local MBE design team Fujikawa Johnson Gobel (FJG) to ensure the lounge’s vision was fully realized. JWI’s proactive approach, close and consistent monitoring of construction progress, and attention to detail helped facilitate a quality installation that was on time and on budget.
Our strong relationships with contractors and airport personnel helped navigate challenges and minimize impacts. With a thorough understanding of the project scope, construction process, and project schedule, we were able to navigate through change management and pay application reviews, ensuring Airport Dimensions valuable resources were maintained.
We are honored to be part of the amazing team that accomplished this historic achievement for Midway Airport and can’t wait for travelers to experience The Club MDW!
