Marc Klein

Vice President of Construction

Marc Klein has nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with more than a decade related to aviation projects. His reputation of hard work and perseverance, combined with his engineering and construction management background, has led to the successful management of hundreds of millions of dollars in projects. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and Indiana and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Marc’s draw to the construction industry began with an aspiration to be involved in major civil engineering projects. Early in his career, this desire was fulfilled through work on major transportation projects, including bridge and highway construction, which quickly grew to include airport-wide development and implementation, from runway rehabilitation and airfield maintenance to terminal infrastructure improvements to the construction of new parking facilities. He has a career history of repeatedly delivering projects on time and under budget, with an extensive understanding of airport-related financial and governmental requirements through continual relations with the airlines and the FAA.

After assisting in the launch and development of the current global leader in EMAS (Engineered Material Arresting Systems) technology, Runway Safe, Marc became the founding leader of the JWI construction division, which now includes nearly 50 employees performing work for transportation, municipal, and commercial general contracting projects.
