Delta Air Lines Sky Club at DEN

The new and expanded Delta Sky Club at DEN is a 19,600-square-foot airline lounge that replaces the existing 6,000-square-foot Sky Club. The project scope consists of all new amenities to meet current Sky Club standards, including a new greet lobby, a full-service bar, food buffets and beverage stations, a new kitchen, lounge areas, restrooms, BOH support space, and furniture. The construction of the space consists of the full demolition of existing spaces and systems, and the full replacement of MEP/LV systems. The project delivery consists of multiple phases to relocate existing tenants within the new footprint and keep the existing Sky Club in operation until the new one opens. The club opening is split into two phases: phase one in March 2026 and phase two in September 2026.

JWI provided project management services for this project. JWI began managing the design development and preconstruction efforts and assisted with airport coordination. JWI then managed a comprehensive value-engineering effort to reduce costs and meet the pre-approved construction budget. From there, JWI managed the permitting and airport approval process and is now managing the construction. JWI also led the development of furniture specifications, furniture procurement efforts, and furniture value-engineering exercises to achieve a package that met the project budget. Throughout both design and construction, JWI has managed many stakeholders on the project, including but not limited to: Delta Sky Club, DEN Airport Affairs, Delta IT, local Denver AHJ, local Delta station, and the USO.
