Denver International Airport (DEN) Project Management and Support Services (PMSS)

Overview

JWI is proud to be the Program Manager for DEN’s Project Management and Support Services (PMSS) team, assisting the Airport Infrastructure Management (AIM) division in defining, designing, and executing infrastructure and facilities developments and maintenance projects at DEN.

Over the past few years, we’ve managed and completed dozens of simultaneous projects and programs at any given time. This work is as diverse as the airport itself. Our team works in the terminals, concourses, airside and landside, helping to replace, upgrade, and build new infrastructure and facilities all across DEN.

JWI’s roles and responsibilities include meeting with stakeholders to help refine facility needs while exploring alternatives, reviewing cost estimates, and preparing schedules. The team also coordinates with outside regulatory agencies to ensure timely permit approvals and compliance. JWI assists in contract preparation, site investigations, construction management planning, value engineering, constructibility reviews, bidding and awards, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) oversight.

JWI also reviews, manages, and maintains project site records, including contracts, drawings, specifications, addenda, contract change orders, and other modifications throughout each project. We work with DEN security and officials and federal, local, and state agencies to ensure complete adherence to onsite safety and security procedures from conception through construction.

Projects under the PMSS include:

  • Gate Apron Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Program (GARDI)
  • Passenger Loading Bridge Replacement Program
  • Physical Access Control System (PACS) Replacement
