Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Adjacent Construction Program

As part of the Infrastructure Capital Improvement Program, CTA’s Adjacent Construction Program is in place to ensure that early and thorough coordination takes place between contractors, owners, utilities, design teams, and necessary CTA departments before any construction or maintenance work being performed in a public way or on private property adjacent to the general practice. This Construction Management Services Task Order provides administrative oversight and field oversight/inspection services to ensure that proper permitting is in place and protocols strictly enforced for work to be performed safely and to mitigate or limit impacts to CTA bus and rail operations, protect CTA’s infrastructure and ensure safe operations for employees and the public. JWI personnel will perform field oversight and inspection services as part of this ongoing program.
