Overview
JWI provided program management services for Phase 1 of the Kiosk Replacement and Reduction program. JWI is currently the Program Manager for phases 2 & 3 of the program.
The program consists of the replacement of ticketing kiosks and removal of Need Help Centers (NHCs) at over 100 airports. At each station, outdated kiosks were replaced with hundreds of new facial recognition kiosks. These kiosks required an entirely new ticket lobby configuration. JWI worked directly with various Delta stakeholders to design lobby configurations specific to every airport in the program.
During Phase I, JWI’s services included the scope of work development, procurement administration, permitting, site surveys, and developing and managing the project schedule and budget. JWI also oversaw the City, Airport Authority, Delta IT, and Delta CRE approvals. JWI ensured that airport authority approvals, city permits, and kiosk deliveries were completed in record time, despite the risk of delays.
For Phases 2 & 3, JWI’s scope includes the initial design development, airport approval, contractor procurement, stakeholder coordination, and construction oversite.
