O’Hare Fuel Committee Company ORD Fuel Master Plan

Overview

At the request of the O’Hare Fuel Committee, JWI led a full-scale investigation into the Fueling System at Chicago O’Hare International Airport to develop and manage a Fuel System Master Plan.

This fully completed Fuel System Master Plan ensures continued compliance with EPA standards. It includes upgrades to the current Super Satellite Facility, Fuel Farm Facility, and fuel mains significantly impacted by the large-scale O’Hare Modernization Program and proposed new runway.

The Fuel System Master Plan led to a comprehensive series of projects, now called the Fuel System Improvement Program (FSIP), to administer, design, and construct all tasks related to enhancing and maintaining the entire fuel system at ORD. JWI now serves as the program manager and owner’s representative for these projects under FSIP.
